Rebecca Walk Named to 2024 SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – For the fourth time in her career, Rebecca Walk was named to the SEC Community Service team, the Southeastern Conference announced on Wednesday.

Walk, a graduate student from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, has now been recognized by the conference every season she has been with the Bulldogs. She is the first Bulldog to earn the honor four times.

Walk has contributed hours to multiple organizations in the Starkville and Mississippi State community. She has volunteered with the Access Program and the TK Martin Center on campus. Other events around Starkville include Coffee with a Cop, the MLK Day of Service and volunteering at the Partnership Middle School.

Walk just concluded her final season with the Bulldogs. The middle blocker started in 77 matches in her time in the Maroon and White while playing in 246 sets. Over the span of her career, she picked up 569 kills and 256 total blocks.
