Rain Cancels Saturday's Bulldog Classic Action

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State and Memphis tried to meet on the softball field for the second-straight day, but once again rain prevailed as Saturday night's Bulldog Classic game between the two squads was cancelled due to heavy rains that hovered over Starkville Friday and Saturday.
The rain actually nixed all of Saturday's contests, and now four games will be played at the MSU Softball Field on Sunday.
Memphis and Texas A&M will open play at 10 a.m., followed by the Bulldogs taking on the Aggies in a noon first pitch. The Tigers and Mississippi Valley State will play at 2 p.m. before the Dawgs and Delta Devilettes wrap the weekend at 4 p.m.
